Stricto sensu by Ligne Roset
Didier Gomez wanted to design a model which offered the maximum comfort in the minimum of space, whilst losing nothing aesthetically speaking. Several fireside chairs may be combined to form one long banquette.
A traditional structure (panels of particleboard and multi-ply around a metal frame), overlaid with polyether foam and polyester quilting. Armchair and fireside chair have steel-sprung suspension; settees have a suspended 'grille'. Feet in polished aluminium.
Seat cushions in high resilience polyurethane CMHR Bultex foam (37kg/m³ - 2.65kPa). Back cushions in high resilience polyurethane CMHR Bultex foam (27kg/m³ - 1.55kPa). 3 back cushions should be specified for the small settee, and 4 for the large. All items have fully removable covers, except frame covers when in Alcantara or hide.
This model looks sensational in hide, but works equally well in fabric. Contrasting back cushions may be specified if desired. Seat is always in the same colour/fabric as the structure.
