Slice by serien.lighting

Slice Wall boasts high output but minimum energy consumption. Like its sister, the floor luminaire Slice, it meets the requirement for optimum lighting for modern workspaces as well as their appealing design. Slice Wall will be fully available s of late summer 2009. At first glance its powerful potential can only be surmised, because as opposed to traditional examples of this type of luminiare Slice Wall is extremely flat and slender. Fitted with the latest generation of compact fluorescent bulbs and operating devices it is highly efficient in terms of energy consumption. Prism glass, metal-vaporized from the inside, increases the light output and also ensures absolutely glare-free light. The reflector and anti-glare technology is highly effective and was developed specially for the Slice family of luminaires. The metal vaporizing process controls the balance between indirect and direct light. On request the angle of transmission and reflection can be adjusted to suit individual objects. The luminaire can also be switched on and off by means of an optional external motion sensor. Slice Wall combines low energy consumption with high-level efficiency, as well as elegant and straightforward design with sophisticated lighting technology. It is suitable for modern workspaces, meeting rooms, kitchenettes, corridors, and stairwells. In combination with the floor luminiare there are no limits to its possible uses.

The Slice standard luminaire blends perfect working light with an elegant design. In contrast to traditional workplace standard luminaires its head is extremely flat and slender, thus providing absolutely dazzle-free light and high light output. Slice has specially designed new reflector and anti-glare technology to thank for this. The head can be swiveled horizontally through 180 degrees. The U-shaped base houses all the operating devices and, given its shape, can easily be moved around table legs. If required the standard luminaire also comes equipped with ambient light control and a motion detector. Furthermore Slice can easily be integrated into modern light management systems that use a Dali interface. Slice adds a touch of elegance to working environments and also looks extremely good in living quarters.
