With Shanti EMU broadens its offering of solar-powered lighting: the sunlight powers the batteries of the lamp and the five LEDs (total 3.5 Watts) grant 4 to 6 hours of lighting after sundown (the time must be estimated in relation to the latitude and to the time of the year). There is a switch next to the ceiling fixture allowing the light to turn on automatically as soon as it gets dark. If the switch is left off, it is possible to decide whether to keep the light on or off. Shanti stands out for its slim and elegant lines. It is made of hot-galvanised metal sheeting and rod ad is the result of the Emu Research Centre team. It is available in 3 sizes and its only colour is white.
