Set is a proposal of contemporary design that reinterprets the concept of operative space in the home, mixing traditional technical-functional elements revisited in a modern key (e.g. chimney- comhood) with innovative solutions in terms of aesthetic features, composition and types. Formally basic with a sophisticated choice of materials and colour combinations, the kitchen becomes a practical, orderly place to work in, and it is finished with care for pleasant living. A space made of interacting components charged with a strong personality. Exclusive rational environment designed to capture the atmosphere of traditional old-time kitchens, with large chimney-comhoods surrounded by pantry units, functional storage containers, shelves and workspaces with all equipment required for preparing and cooking meals.

Set designs a space around which daily activities are performed, and the central element of this space is the hood block, a selfsupporting steel panel for the built-in suction system, wiring and service lights. Enhanced by the basic design and powerful personality of the inclined hood, this component is a structural septum that can be freely positioned in space like a “load bearing totem” around which the composition of the island or peninsula workspace is assembled. The formal lightness typical of this product of industrial design is further underscored by the sleek over- hanging table top that merges into the operative block with refined sophistication.

All other components are also designed with the same fastidious care for details: average height storage blocks, columns with built-in domestic appliances, glass cabinets, wallmounted panels with folding shelves on the front, wall cabinets with vertical folding doors and open lateral shelves. The system’s many elements can be combined to meet all requirements and uses to customise all interventions with quality aesthetic features based on the artful use of exclusive materials, precious finishes and refined colour combinations.

In terms of kitchen type, original configurations include the linear, corner, island, peninsula or block-based layout. Designed to contain professional equipment and superior level appliances, Set defines the kitchen space that ensures high quality performance standards.
