Serre curtain fabric by Kvadrat
Serre curtain fabric
Serre is a distinctive curtain fabric that features a variety of large, solid flower motifs. In some colours, these are silhouetted against a transparent background, which has been created by removing part of the fabric using the burn-out technique. In others, the shapes of the flowers have been removed from the material using the burn-out technique, and lie on a solid background.
The curtain offers an intriguing combination of soft and sharp patterns, making it particularly individual, contemporary and romantic. It is suitable for private homes, the contract market and is particularly applicable to restaurants. Unusually for a fabric, which has been constructed using the burn-out technique, it is flame retardant. Serre comes in 8 fresh, elegant and soft colours: pale grey, bright summer sky blue, dusky blue, midnight blue, black, mud brown, burnt pink and aubergine. It combines particularly well with unicoloured fabrics.
