Chair that features a balance of volumes in counterpoint: the back has a strong presence and mass, while the overhanging seat is airy and rests on light, vibrant legs. While leaving the perimeter optically unchanged, the perforations on the back break the surface and further underline the relationship between mass and transparency, between the chair and what lies beyond it, be it a table, the wall or a person. The back structure, made of extruded aluminium, is consciously left exposed, as if forming the chair’s backbone.
