The designer, Russian architect Mikhail Barashkov started his design process from the beautiful elm wood material and the thought of repeating a similar solid wood strip in the seat as well as in the back rest. His own comment: "Can a functional and comfortable piece of furniture be made of just a few elm strips? How about having a drink sitting on the SEPTEMBER bar stool and thinking about it..?”
