With SANGA we were most interested in the expressive moment of dovetailing solid wood and lacquered metal. A speciality of this table is the interpenetration of the lathed table-leg and the tabletop. Akin to the 'Stabelle', a traditional alpine wooden chair, the round leg is locked in the slab by a wooden wedge.
