The unique character of this chair, designed in 1954, perfectly captures the atmosphere of departure and optimism. The simple, geometrically arranged steel wire construction makes the molded plywood shell resting on it look like a futuristic object floating in space. With its organically rounded and embracing form, the shell invites comfortable sitting. The openings in the backrest are not only a very attractive visual detail but are also constructively necessary to allow this extreme deformation of the seat shell.
Frame chrome-plated tubular steel veneered with beech, stained or cover varnished in various shades.
