Optimal Use of Space
The low weight of the S 160, S 170 and S 180 chairs – ranging from 6.5 to 9.5 kg depending on the design – guarantees time-efficient and safe assembly in large halls, lecture theatres and churches. The chairs’ slim shape allows closely arranged rows, resulting in an optimal use of space. They can be stacked vertically, thus needing less storage space. Stacking, moving and storing are facilitated by the products’ low weight and easy handling.
Designs, Materials and Application Areas
The S 160, S 170 and S 180 series are available in various designs: with or without armrests and with or without upholstery. Since the seat cushions are set into the frame, the upholstered version also has a low stacking height. The S 180 sled frame is made of chromed steel tubing and the seat shell is made of plastic. The series also includes two designs with a moulded wood seat: one with a low backrest (S 182) and one with a high backrest (S 184). Both the wooden and the plastic designs are available with upholstered seats and backrests, which not only provides additional comfort but also contributes to excellent acoustics.
