Rhombus P 124 Hanging Lamp

This exclusive LED-hanging lamp is not only an impressive light source, but also a captivating object for home and work areas of high standing. Thanks to well thought-out workmanship, a mix of timeless styling and a unique look and feel, it lives up to the highest demands of quality and design. The fact that the “Rhombus” is manufactured in limited numbers in the same factory out of a single piece of aluminium makes this model unique. Either in colourless aluminium or black, the hand cut, anodised aluminium body of the lamp makes the “Rhombus” a discreet eye-catcher.

The hanging lamp is equipped with a 48-piece LED with a colour temperature of 2,700 K. A unique distribution of light is achieved with the help of an intricately designed diffuser, so that 70% of the light is directed towards the tabletop and 15% of the light is directed sideways and towards the ceiling, respectively. This results in glare-free and therefore comfortable area lighting. In addition, the lamp comes with an interface that makes it possible to connect additional modules in the future (a remote control, for example). Upgrade compatible software guarantees that even in the future, the "Rhombus" can adapt to state-of-the-art technology. A continuous dimmer provides additional comfort – operated by two no-contact, discreet optical sensors integrated into the body of the lamp, an unobtrusive audible tone, which can be turned on or off as desired, confirms when the maximum and minimum levels of luminosity are reached. The energy consumption is 65 watts for a light intensity of 600 lux.

The “Rhombus” was awarded the 2008 “Good Design Award” by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and was nominated for the “ 2010 German Design Award”.
