Dimensions
The usable surface corresponds to DIN A formats, for the exterior dimensions of the signs – at a depth of only 16 mm – a mere 3-4 mm has to be added to the calculation.

Structure
The base consists of an inclined function panel of metal and plastic, which – dark gray in color – is recognizable as shadow gap. The outer edges are bordered all-round with fine-brushed stainless steel frames. A white background conceals the securing holes and permits insertion of semi-transparent foils. The face surface is completely reserved for information, which is covered flush with a 6 mm thick, crystal-clear acrylic pane. Thanks to a new development the acrylic thickness of 6 mm is now available with an anti-reflex surface, at an additional charge. The design of the retaining bracket compensates for thermally induced changes in dimension with acrylic, so that the pane is securely held in place at any temperature, and can be opened at any time with a suction device. For exteriors exposed to weathering the change modules are only suitable under certain conditions, as precipitation can penetrate between the insert surfaces through capillary effect.

Square module, special formats
Other than the DIN formats, special dimensions, combined from the DIN edge lengths and 280 mm (US letter) are possible. Thus for example square modules 300 mm x 300 mm, 280 mm x 280 mm, or rectangular formats like 150 mm x 420 mm, can be built. Special dimensions, which deviate from the cited edge lengths are only effective in very large quantities due to tooling considerations.
