Quadrondo

Dining tables from PHILIP, Designed by Erwin Nagel

Product description

Concept

Quadrondo – a table which can change its shape and appearance to suit the occasion – …

… in a surprising variety of ways: With only a few easy movements of the hand it can be readily converted from a round table to a square one. Quadrondo owes
its versatility to an ingenious (and patented) design principle. The four quadrants of the circular table top can be opened and closed in any desired arrangement to produce a variety of geometrical shapes. Each arrangement creates a completely different visual effect. Quadrondo created by German interior designer Erwin Nagel, is an aesthetically appealing yet highly practical table featuring a versatility that makes it ideal for a whole diversity of situations: as a dining table or worktable at home, for example, or for round (or square) table discussions in the office, or simply for entertaining.

Design awards:
Haus Industrieform Essen, design center stuttgart, periodical Schöner Wohnen
