QLOCKTWO® – Time in words
Turns time into a statement / winner of multiple international awards in 2011 and 2012

QLOCKTWO® makes you stop and look at time in a different way. The typographical display combines the moment with the written word and turns it into a statement. “It is half past nine”.

The reduced square shape is restricted to the essentials and time is displayed by means of a square grid of letters. These characters light up in pure white to form words which describe the time. The 45 x 45 cm clock, made of wood with multiple coats of paint, can be used as a wall clock or as a free-standing object.

The front panel of the QLOCKTWO® is fixed by magnets. In this way it can be changed without visible means of attachment. Brushed stainless steel or polished synthetic glass in seven colours are available.

QLOCKTWO® is radio-controlled in Europe and sets itself precisely to the second on receiving the signal after being switched on. Brightness control adjusts the luminosity of the letters automatically to ambient light. In addition, brightness can be individually adjusted. The seconds can also be displayed by the touch of a button. Each QLOCKTWO® has a command of twelve languages which can be changed at any time with the corresponding front panel.

Seven colours and twelve languages are available as swappable front panels. Power is supplied either by a direct wall connection or by textile cables in various colours.

The clock manufactured in a jewellery factory
QLOCKTWO® is manufactured in southern Germany, in Schwäbisch Gmünd. The designers Biegert & Funk have set up the newest clock manufacturer in Germany in a former jewellery factory at this town famous for its gold and silver jewelry. In this building, which was built at the start of the twentieth century and lovingly renovated, each QLOCKTWO® is assembled by hand and thoroughly tested. This ensures that each product meets the high quality standards of the manufacturer.
