As colour expert, artist and graphic artist, Finn Sködt has had a major influence on Kvadrat’s sense of colour. Finn Sködt works with textile design, graphic design, industrial design, painting, sculpture, embellishment, colour combining, ceramics and plate glass.
The use of filament yarn in upholstery is a first; here, too, all the quality requirements from the institutions market are fulfilled in one fabric. It meets all fire safety requirements; it keeps its shape, does not shrink and is resistant to pilling. It is also virtually non-iron, is extremely durable and is colour fast.
The upholstery Primus has the characteristics of fine canvas and comes in a sophisticated colour scheme created by the architect Vico Magistretti in conjunction with Finn Sködt.
