Extreme formal synthesis for the “Postsparkasse” model, a re-edition of the arm chair designed by Otto Wagner for the headquarters of the Post Office Savings Bank in Vienna in 1906.
The pure, minimalist style is an expression of the simplified logic of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna products and also of exclusivity, obtained through great attention to details.
An embracing ergonomic structure in bent solid beech, finished with steel covers on the arm rests.
It introduces a new concept to the “Postsparkasse” series: the use of wood with a square instead of round cross-section to create a somewhat rigorous profile.
Finishes: anthracite and black varnish.
Also wengé wood, dark cherry, light cherry, dark walnut, light walnut and natural beech. Seat in beech plywood or leather.
Leg bottoms in synthetic material of aluminium.
