Poppy of serien.lighting

The decorative Poppy family has had offspring: The wall and ceiling versions now have a modified canopy and fewer arms. They come with a choice of one, two, three, or five movable hinged arms. As a result the petal-like shades are no longer merely illustrious chandeliers, but can also create atmosphere in small, intimate spaces, for example in hallways and bedrooms. Switch on Poppy, and the shade opens up like a flower. This is made possible by the fine bi-metal leaves, which adopt a pre-determined position through the warmth of the lamps. Poppy – the name says it all: Its bud, the goblet-like shade made of mouth-blown glass that comes in red, ceramic or dark violet is slightly transparent when lit. Its stalk, made of flexible tube in black or beige, is fabric-coated and can be bent in any direction. This enables the appearance and lighting effect of the chandelier to be altered individually – for example wild and playful or strict and bundled.
