Causeway are the right-angled upholstered furniture landscape of PARCS. The foundation for their "tectonics" are the seating modules, which are available in three different sizes. In combination with the vertical fence modules or walls, they motivate their users to take one of three different positions: sitting, standing or leaning. And they encourage easy-going – and creative – meetings.

Vertical modules provide a screen for work that requires concentration. If shelves and books are installed, a library is created.

Causeways enable ergonomic freedom. The inspiration for their design derives from Giant’s Causeway, an impressive rock formation in Northern Ireland; there, every visitor intuitively adopts the posture that is most comfortable for them. The Spanish Steps in Rome, street cafes in Paris and old cities also inspired the designers – places in which people like to congregate and linger.
