Toyo Ito has distinguished the Moony dresser with multiple “moons” inscribed along the edges of its minimalist structure. A graphic idea that refers to the architecture of the great master while presenting a personal tribute to nature. Accordingly, as you turn on Moony´s interior lightning, the circular methacrylate inserts shine bright, reproducing the different moon phases, and creating a poem of shadows suitable for any environment.

2003: Toyo Ito designed Moony, and with a play of lights inside the cabinet, he re-created the phases of the moon on the doors, his personal tribute to nature.
2014: Moony is wearing white, to enhance this poetic vision in an everyday object. White amplifies the effect like a sounding board that captures and multiplies light, at the same time giving the whole a more ethereal, almost dreamlike effect.
