Mocca by Admonter

The Mocca range sets the trend for dark floors without using chemicals or dyes. Thanks to the completely natural thermo-treatment procedure, we offer a range of European timber in darker colour shades without using tropical wood species.
Contrasting colour variations are a valued feature. Knotless and without sapwood, occasional knot points are allowed. Occasional seasoning shakes are allowed.

Special Features:
1. The thermo treatment is a completely natural process without using chemicals or dyes. A wide range of dark colour shades is only achieved by heating the timber. Admonter Mocca is a 100% natural product from sustainable forest cultivation.
2. Under-floor heating systems: Thanks to the thermo treatment all Mocca floors, even Beech, one of the most unstable woods species, become so stable that they are suitable for use over under-floor heating systems.
3. Natural colour changes: An Admonter wide plank is an entirely natural product and as a consequence after a certain time natural colour changes may occur. Depending on the intensity in which the planks are exposed to the sun lighter timber turns darker while darker timber becomes lighter (especially during the first 3 – 6 months). The colour change is reduced thanks to an additional coating of UV-protection.
