ML33 was designed in 1933 by the renowned Danish architect Mogens Lassen, who was one of the pioneers within Danish design and architecture. ML33 will appear in an original cane version as well as in a new leather version. The unique cane work and handicraft not only make ML33 an inviting place to sit but show Mogens Lassen’s keen sense of comfort and design. This elegant collection reflects Mogens Lassen’s fascination with the basic Bauhaus principles, especially the principle of the circle.
ML33 was designed 75 years ago for Fritz Hansen and is now being re-launched. One of the original chairs from 1933 can be seen at the permanent exhibit at the Danish Museum of Art and Design.
