MIKADO is the achievement of a careful consideration about free-standing wardrobes. Single rods of round solid wood are arranged around a common middle axis, joined elaborately and held together flexibly by a central drag rope.
Material:
-solid wood rods (ramin) Ø 20 mm
-twigs of different lengths (beech) Ø 10 mm
-drag rope made from steel with clamp buckle.
Structure:
Solid wood rods joined together at multiple point via hidden screw joints and held together by a central drag rope. The arrangement of the twigs in different lengths is different on each copy of the wardrobe.
Finish:
-open-pored finish in the colours: white RAL 9010, black RAL 9017
-natural beech, clear finish
