Product description
This back painted product employs low iron glass ensuring a bright white appearance and minimal visible colour tint. Its back painted nature means the glass surface is only visible on the front face of the product.
The back paint is highly scratch resistant and moisture resistant. However, the product can not be toughened and the coating is only suitable for internal applications, though this does make it slightly more affordable.
Its acid etched front face gives the product a soft satin finish in contrast to the usually hard reflective surface of glass and also diffuses light when transmitted through the glass.
Acid etched glass products can require increased maintenance as they are susceptible to grease marks and finger prints to their surface.
A proprietary polypropylene film can be applied to the rear face for it to be implemented as safety glass.
