Invention and method.
An essential and elegant design showing a specific intention: to design a comfortable chair, using advanced technology, but to produce a reasonably priced product.
In line with the philosophy of mass production that Gebrüder Thonet Vienna has always upheld.
The support structure is in drawn, curved and welded aluminium.
The seat is made from curved beech lamellate, and fixed with four screws to the structure.
The chair is also available with armrests, in pressed melted aluminium, and as a rocking chair, which is made with two curved solid beech wood elements.
It is polyurethane painted in various colours.
The feet are made from Adiprene elastomeric polyurethane.
