A trip back to the design of the 70’s, thinking to a continuity that respects tradition. The studio Castiglia Associates has taken and reinterpreted Salvarani’s greatest international success - the Long Line kitchen. The kitchen’s forward looking design imposed itself as a prototype for future generations, and is now on display in New York’s MOMA. The groove, the door with profile in aluminium, but above all the curved laminated Firon top, conceived and produced by the same company, have all been taken and adapted to the innovations that kitchen furnishings have experienced over the years. The new Long Line has chosen to maintain the name so as to emphasize the strength of tradition and has been presented this year at Eurocucina. Once again focus has been given to the top thanks to the sink-like design with aluminium border, while choice materials for the tops give space to Corian and aluminium. What has changed, when considering the previous model, is the absence of handles to open the doors, and the choice of total white. Thanks to the mirror panels, and the shelf with light, the whole environment acquires a brightness that truly brings out the linearity and the clean cut shape of the elements.
