The whole of this lamp is made from finely polished prim brass rods. Through its handle it hints the carrying of candle sticks. With his interpretation of the shade Ernst Lichtblau created the archetype of many modern designs picking up this functionality. It works as a reflector to bring more light and as a shade to take away the light at the same time.
