LC3 Méridienne | Cassina S.p.A.

This model, developed from sketches made by Charlotte Perriand in 1928, derives from the Fauteuil Grand Confort and is designed to provide a different kind of seat that may be taken as a modern interpretation of the Méridienne. Meant as a focal point of the furnishing scheme, unlike the normal two-armed armchair this has a lengthened seat and one single arm unit which can be set at either end thus giving the piece a kind of asymmetric dynamism which extends to take in the entire furnished area.
