table and floor lamp designed by jesper k. thomsen and sanne traberg, denmark. the body and legs of the lamp is manually turned in wood after old craft traditions. the name of the lamp (lathe) refers to the small turning tool the craftsmen uses when making the body and legs. the lamp is made after fair trade principles and at the same workshop as the well-known mater high stool. the oak wood is from controlled sources with a shade in local cotton or linen.
bulb: 1 x 60 w (bulb not included) socket: E27, CE approved. the lamp has braided wire mounted alongside the pole using small rubber rings (included).
the workshop has actively participated in the fair trade program susbiz india (www.susbizindia.org), externally managed and audited by the danish federation of small and medium-sized enterprise.
material: oak wood from controlled sources with clear lacquer finish, black painted aluminum frame, white shade in linen. color: natural oak with clear lacquer, white shade. dimensions: h 131 cm, ø 46 cm (floor), h 64 cm, ø 34 cm (table) origin: handmade in jaipur, india.
