larson® by ALUCOIL

Composition
larson® composite panel is a high-tech product for architectural façade cladding. It is formed by two sheets of aluminium alloy 5005 H22 bonded by a thermoplastic resin core (polyethylene pe) or a mineral filling core (fr). The advanced production process grants an extraordinary adherence, having double of the recommended parameters for ACM. It can be easily machined and transformed, drilled, curved, etc, without losing its mechanical properties.

The panel
Security is not against design. For this reason, larson® has the widest range of coated finishes in the market at the highest quality in liquid (PVdF) or in powder (termolac®) as well as wood finishes in larson wood® range, natural metals in larson metals® range and holo colours which change from the point of view to be able to carry out any project. From a minimum of 500 sqm, larson can be produced in any RAL chart colour. An added value which will provide each facade with a personalized finish as well as a warranty in time, without renouncing to the security provided by the fire resistant core.

Installation Systems
Alucoil® has five systems of hanging: LCH-1 System, LC-2 System, LC-4/LC-6 System, LC-9 System (glued), Riveted System. The installation systems developed by Alucoil®, allow all types of architectural designs and projects.

Certifications
The installation Systems developed by Alucoil® under European building approvals such as, Avis Technique in France, DIT in Spain, LNEC in Portugal, ITB in Poland, BBA in the UK,... give shape to all kind of projects. larson range
improves thermal and acoustic insulation and allows the fastest installation. Alucoil® offers also technical advice to installers and architects complemented by a façade calculation program supervised by Eduardo Torroja institute.

FR Core
Light, flat and fire resistant. Three features that seem to be incompatible and which combine together in larson fr® composites. Developed in Alucoil´s Research and Development department at Miranda de Ebro, Spain, the larson fr® ACM is adapted to maximum security demands in most of European regulations. Two high quality aluminium sheets and a particular internal FR core that guarantees extreme fire resistance. larson fr® is the solution to modern architecture´s demands with regards to external facade cladding. The special features of the fr core allow this material, within the range of Alucoil´s composites, to achieve European fire classification Bs2d0, which is specified in the standard norm EN 13501-1, “Fire classification of construction products and building elements”. The classification can be used in many European countries to show compliance with the national building regulations.
