The secret of this stacking, minimal chair that has received many awards is to be found in the lightness, born of the conception of its solid wooden structure, covered by two veneered layers and resembling the wings of gliders.
Equally light is ILVOLO table and the benches and stools making up this collection. All these products are available in a range of wood types, or matt stove enamelled, that can be arranged in combinations with identical or assorted finishes.

2014
The laleggera collection is the expression of research and technology at its maximum. The result of combining a solid traditional material, solid wood, with the lightest, expanded polyurethane, with a filled structure. The external shell in different wood veneers or sliced veneer multi-laminate available with a transparent varnish finish or various lacquer colours. In 2009 it became part of the resident MoMA collection in New York. In addition to chairs, with and without arms, the concept of “lightness” which characterised the collection, is also declined on the stools, benches and tables. The last one are called ilvolo. The same material, the same finishes and the same pure lines are back in the new pieces, designed to be cosy, ergonomic and practical. They are offered with different wood veneers, or stained in different current colors, including the new beige, sand, black, “carta da zucchero” blue and green sage.

2013
The laleggera collection has been enriched thanks to the introduction of a new upholstery material: full-grain leather and synthetic-leather mated to soft foamed polyurethane, for enhanced comfort. The available versions as chair, chair with arms, easy chair and bench have a finely veneered structure made from solid wood with an interior support in polyurethane foam. Easy to handle, sturdy and stackable, these chairs are available in different colours and are suitable for prestigious home or contract environments.

2011
An important extension of the laleggera ilvolo collection sees the introduction of the new canaletto nut finish. Practical and resistant tables and chairs are designed to be cosy, ergonomic and functional and they could be used together in the same or different finishes.
