Maximum stability through minimal material strength. This apparent contradiction is overcome by the use of an extremely stable yet only 8 mm-thin laminate. The curve of the seat and back rest conveys a soft, almost textile effect, inviting passers-by to rest their arms on the back rest and make themselves comfortable. “la superfine”'s load-bearing structure made of flat-bar and angle steel emphasizes its flowing form. A high-strength polyurethane adhesive ensures the long-lasting connection of the laminate sheets to the steel structure. The unconventional use of high quality materials creates a new typology for furniture in outdoor public spaces.

Plate Material
A duromer high-pressure laminate based on 65% natural fibre plates, pressed with special resin and under high pressure and temperatures. For many years this material has proven purposeful as a high-quality building material, e.g. in curtain walls.

Steel Frame
A hot galvanized and coated steel frame serves as supporting structure. The high-strength adhesive on the basis of polyurethan fixing the frames to the plate is commonly used in curtain walls.

Coating
All steel parts have been treated with a special high-quality coating. A high portion of teflon helps to create an easy-to-clean surface from which conventional stickers can be removed without any problems. A good surface adhesion and weather resistance bring about an ideal protection against vandalism and corrosion. The colour tone is approx. RAL 7012.

Ground Fixation
All parts are prepared for being fixed to the ground. For the mounting in concrete additional tie bolts are available at request.
