Kente of Varaschin

Kente is a collection of chairs, end tables and planters that fully embody the broad vision of Out and In, and feature a new application of the weaveing with motifs inspired by African textiles. The chair is constructed on a stainless steel base and the aluminum shell is covered in wide bands of woven synthetic fiber in either different bright colors or a single warm tone, such as brown. The end tables, which pair with the chairs, come in both round and square formats and in two different heights. The glass tabletop is covered by the same weave in the two chromatic variants.
This family of furnishings also includes a second series of seating elements: high- back and low-back chairs, plus a chaise longue whose pattern continues the theme of African textiles. The webbing, available in multicolor or brown versions, wraps around an aluminum structure to create pieces with a style at once ethnic and retro. These chairs are accompanied by a sofa and an armchair with rectangular bases and comfortable backrests padded with soft cushions. Kente is an elegant outdoor solution, but at the same time it gives liveliness and color to indoor spaces without sacrificing the comfort and attention to detail that one expects from indoor furnishings.
