The stackable JW01 designed by Jacob Wagner is one of the first pieces of furniture to be put into production by HAY. JW01 is made as a simple and discreet chair, but behind its quiet exterior lies a perfectionist approach to the design and manufacturing. The simpler the design, the more effort must be put into the detail – that’s the paradox of simplicity!

Blessed with good proportions and seating comfort, JW01 is a well thought out and carefully composed chair. Excellent back support and perfectly rounded edges intertwine to make the chair ergonomically correct and comfortable. The combination of a stainless steel frame and a seat in form pressed veneer make it light and flexible.

JW01 is available in veneer or in quilted or non-quilted upholstery and comes as a dining chair or a barstool.
