Job Classic
Its shape is timeless, its material elegant and crafted with care. Thanks to the torsion springs the swivel arms can be adjusted precisely and the luminiare held securely in any position. Just like classic work luminiaires Job has four hinges, though the physical principle of parallel running rods was artistically elevated to a design feature: On Job the hinges are each connected to two tubes, one made of transparent glass and a second of polished stainless steel. The stainless steel tube is more slender, runs along the inside of the glass tube without touching it, while on the other hand concealing the electricity cable.
What is new is that with immediate effect the luminaire head, which swivels through 360°, is fitted with a 70 Watt halogen bulb, which corresponds to a 100 Watt light bulb. Even if up to 105 Watt halogen bulbs, which correspond to a 150 Watt light bulb, are used the luminaire head remains cool from the outside, as a distance ring keeps the aluminum reflector on the inside at a distance. The ring, which is made of the same material as the transparent tubes, also forms the outer edge of the luminaire. The light can be infinitely dimmed by pushing a button, while the dimmer’s memory function ensures that when switched on again the light reverts to the previous level. A reverse phase dimmer, which minimizes annoying dimmer humming and electromagnetically is extremely environmentally friendly, is another new feature. All the luminaire’s parts, including the torsion springs, the hexagonal semi-circular bolts on the hinges, and even the switch, are made of polished stainless steel. The glass tube and the distance ring are made of high-endurance borosilicate glass. Job Classic is fitted with a halogen Energy Saver, which uses 30 % less energy than traditional halogen bulbs.
Job Eco
For those who in future wish to fit Job with an environmentally friendly 16 Watt compact fluorescent bulb, which corresponds to a 75 Watt light bulb, Job is available with a key button without dimming function. On the outside both versions look exactly the same.
USM Haller: With immediate effect Job Classic and Job Eco are available with an optional adapter for USM Haller tables.
