Italia is a special project, a small table, which can also act as a stool, designed by Gianluigi Landoni. It is as though Italia were a small section of a beam. The profile of this elementary accessory is in the shape of a capital “I”, standing for Italy. Hence the name and hence Desalto’s idea of writing, in occasion of the 150th anniversary of Italian Unity, the years “18612011” in relief. Italia can be considered a small gesture to commemorate a great event.
