Islands is a system of seating furniture
Islands creates the feeling of small islands or coral reefs and provides space for informal meetings, while shielding the people sitting on an ”island” from those sitting on the adjacent ”islands” with the help of different materials and different heights. This feeling can also be enhanced by plants placed at designated spaces in the furniture.- Islands is not a classical piece of seating furniture; it is more abstract with different parts that together form an entirety.
