The INDada project develops a new concept of kitchen that adopts simple construction solutions to interpret the articulated complexity of contemporary domestic spaces. Multipurpose rooms designed to converge multiple uses. Dynamic spaces that are continuously transformed, and surfaces that are often small but are more efficiently organised to be expe- rienced with greater intensity.

Flexible, versatile and rational, INDada’s kitchen is the new protag- onist of daily life: from single purpose workspace it becomes the site of daily activities such as reading, working, relaxing, convers- ing, spending leisure time, meeting friends... Modular, technological and practical, INDada integrates high technical performance and exclusive design with innovative solu- tions studied to reinterpret traditional values in a contemporary key, even by making an artful, non invasive use of technology. Comprising modular elements, whose layout can vary to meet specific requirements, the INDada programme includes four basic types: washing-cooking-storage unit; columns designed for built- in domestic appliances, and theme columns structured to hold specific equipment (e.g. bistrot, cafetery, laundry, home office, etc.); walls with open shelves and wall mounted storage contain- ers; workspace organised in islands and peninsulas. Available in various sizes, the single pieces can be easily assembled to create customised projects. The rigorous modularity of base compo- nents enables flexible and efficient workspace organisation with a rational system of storage containers, equipment and counters that can hold everything one needs in the right place with neither wastage nor renunciations.

Designed and constructed in compliance with innovative produc- tion principles, INDada kitchens are a product of industrial design that is marketed at an advantageous quality/price ratio. They are made with cutting-edge production systems focused on optimis- ing resources and managed with the utmost efficiency during all process phases ranging from the approval of raw materials to the use of semifinished products, from the choice of materials and fin- ishes to highly rationalised processing methods. The INDada system includes simplified, versatile, modular com- ponents designed for easy configurations in order to encourage and speed up the design approach and assembly operations. This is achieved without neglecting the product’s aesthetic and functional contents that unfailingly maintain very high quality stan- dards. Basic shapes, choice materials, exclusive processing methods and carefully studied construction details merge consis- tently with the choice of finishes that artfully match the trendy overall colour scheme.

Qualified by basic refined design, the solutions proposed har- monise with all contemporary living frameworks. The many types of INDada kitchens form different configurations that develop in a linear manner, along a corner, on both sides, in separate blocks, in an island or peninsula set-up to design unusual domestic land- scapes where the kitchen is conceived and experienced as a flex- ible, dynamic environment that is always spatially related with the rest of the house.

It was difficult to ask more from Tivalì’s inimitable character. But Dada has done just that with Tivalì&More.
