Reduced to a minimum thickness, the sturdy skeleton lightly and effortlessly supports the top, which is maternal, voluminous, welcoming and visually more striking. The object also has the familiar look of a nest, the look of something long and affectionately used, straight from family traditions. Stainless steel base with matt satin-finish.
