A fireplace that frees the height of the flames to leap upwards in vertical elegance. Upright, simple and as declarative as a capital ‘I’, these two models are a recent design from Dominique Imbert’s workshop. The Ifocus breaks from fireplace convention to create a space for tall, dancing flames while taking up no more room space than a painting. Yet this ever-changing work of art is also functional, providing a notable source of heat.
fireplace: self-supporting single unit made of Indaten steel with herringbone cooling fins; large door of heat-resistant glass framed in steel; lower part of glass panel is open to allow an unobstructed view of the fire and for ventilation; a subframe ensures the free heat expansion of the firebox without propagating it to the partition (or wall) to be built.. The installation professional will need to construct the protective masonry around the firebox and must include upper and lower air vents.
flexible or rigid stainless steel connection flue, fireguard, flexible pipe/grill fresh-air intake device, light grey paint, gas appliance.
- guaranteed efficiency with a minimum flue length (interior plus exterior) of 3.5 m. -
