Movement mechanism
A sophisticated mechanism with synchronised movements, tilting the seat and backrest in ergonomically correct proportions. Releasing the mechanism, the chair adapts perfectly to the user’s movement at all times providing optimal support. The advanced axis of rotation offers greater ease of movement. The backrest has a swing angle of 26º and can be locked in 4 positions. The tension mechanism is easily adjusted to the weight of each user by means of an easily accessible side lever. The mechanism also includes a safety release. The mechanism supports up to 150 kg in weight and is certified according to quality standards BS5459 and BIFMA for 24 hour use.

Seat
Ergonomic interior manufactured with curved wooden sheets. Covered with 40 kg/m3 high resilience polyurethane foam. The seat is height adjustable by means of a gas lift column.

Backrest
Interior made with curved wooden sheets. Covered with high density and high resilience polyurethane foam. Backrest available in three sizes. The ICON armchairs can be upholstered with any of the fabrics from groups C2, C3, C4, C5 and C10 of our samples catalogue or with the fabric supplied by the customer.

Armrests
Two types are offered. Arms with a wooden structure in ebony or oak. Upholstered armrests match the chair. Arms with an aluminium structure, finished in chrome, black or white. Upholstered armrests match the chair.

Base
A five-spoke polished aluminium base.

Casters
D65 mm self-breaking, open twin wheel casters with soft tread. (standard). D65 mm hollow axle, self-breaking open twin wheel casters with soft tread (optional).

Occasional armchairs
Cantilever base manufactured in 25 mm tubular steel, finished in chrome or thermo lacquered epoxy paint in white, black or aluminium. Upholstered armrests. Black anti-tip polyamide ferrules.

Quality standards
