After travelling for a number of years, Frits Henningsen returned to Denmark filled with impressions from his experiences around Europe.
In 1930, he created one of his most iconic furniture designs, a sculptural wing chair, which is now being relaunched as the Heritage Chair.
Drawing on classic British style, Frits Henningsen sought to develop a contemporary armchair with a high level of detail and quality.

The Heritage Chair's warm and elegant lines bear testimony to Frits Henningsen's constant pursuit of perfection. The relaunch also demonstrates that his furniture pieces are still extremely relevant today – and have a radiance rarely found in modern furniture.
