As is his custom, Starck likes to toy with Baccarat’s hallmark icons.After the Zenith chandelier and the Versailles candle holder, Starck transforms the Harcourt drinking glass into a lighting fixture.Turning its original usage on its head, the Harcourt glass is subject to all sorts of situational turnarounds. With his characteristic sense of humor, Starck turns it upside-down and gives it a metalized aspect to create a magnificent ceiling lamp.The name Hic! is a further extension of this desire to up-end Baccarat’s codes. Too much of Harcourt is a good thing. Have another glass!
