This seminal design, created in 1968, was the first suspended, 360° pivoting fireplace. Its exceptional heat efficiency, easy maintenance and simple installation have all contributed to make this fireplace the signature model and symbol of Focus. This international classic has been voted “world’s most beautiful object” at the 2009 Pulchra Design Awards, against over 100 prestigious competitors. It has been exhibited in the Bordeaux Contemporary Art Museum (1996), in the National Centre of Contemporary Art in Grenoble (1997) and in New York’s Guggenheim Museum (1998).

hearth: diameter 1.25 m, weight 97 kg; standard plate weight: 19 kg; flue: 16 kg/m (made to measure); highly heat-resistant matt black paint. A stainless steel ball-bearing system allows the fireplace to be rotated so it can be easily directed to face different parts of the room.

optional extras
cover disc to conceal ceiling joint, fireguard, special plate (inclined, etc.), flue extension in black steel, adapter, light grey paint.
- guaranteed efficiency with a minimum flue length (interior plus exterior) of 4.25 m. -
