Glas of Foscarini

A reinterpretation of the classic work light used in warehouses and factories worldwide, which has become a furnishing style icon. The use of fine materials, like glass, the silver-coloured surface that recalls metal and the addition of details – for example, the chain in the hanging version – make Glas a true decorative element.

The glass diffuser has a chrome-plated aluminium finish that guarantees a mirror effect when the light is off that vanishes when it is turned on. Glas illuminates the environment with a warm, suffused light with a retro feel. The diffuser is completely closed and the craftsmanship of the glass (the material used instead of metal in the original model) was a real challenge.

Glas is available in hanging and table versions and can be used in both public and private spaces, transforming them into creative laboratories, like workshops for new trends.
