FSB isis M100
isis M100 combines the core features and benefits of FSB’s T300 system in a compact starter package that is child’s play to operate.
Be it in the private sphere, in surgeries, lawyers’ chambers or premises of similar size, the system’s far lower degree of complexity compared to EZK – there are no additional software installations, training sessions or external programming devices involved – makes isis M100 the ideal choice for buildings with not many doors or tight budgets.
EZK has established itself as the premium option in recent years when it comes to implementing flexible organisational security in combination with peerless design quality. As with EZK, the process of electronic identification is squeezed in beneath the handle rose together with a mechatronic module in the isis M100 setup. The battery-operated hardware obviates the need to lay any further cables and instils maximum flexibility into the installation process. Both systems thus constitute electronic hardware solutions for flush, glass and framed doors that can be used in conjunction with over 30 stylish FSB door lever models in aluminium, stainless steel, brass and bronze and are without compare in the marketplace owing to their classic backplate/rose visuals.
The difference between the two systems lies in the way access authorisation is administered. Whereas this is performed via a stationary software solution in EZK, isis M100 takes a different path of handle-level programming and in this way makes it easier to learn the ropes of a networked, self-supporting system of electronic access organisation. Design, flexibility and security go hand in hand with the utmost in user convenience and full upgradability for further developments without any need to replace the hardware.
At the heart of the system are four key cards incorporating MIFARE™ DESFire EV1 technology that facilitate programming at the door, specifically a master card, a key card (also available in the form of a key-ring tag), a clone card and the office card. “Registering” or deleting a key card is very straightforward. The master card is held up close to the hardware to initiate the programming process. Then the key or clone card is held up. That’s it!
Access authorisation is issued and the key card ready to use. If the key card is to be additionally accorded the option of permanent release (“office function”), the office card is instead held up after the master card. Key and clone card are “coupled” at the works, meaning that it is only possible to selectively register or delete the key card, with or without it actually being present, by means of the clone card. Progress made in the programming process is indicated by a red/green LED in the rose as well as by acoustic signals.
isis M100 is supplied from the works as a preconfigured “turnkey” product. The system is assigned a suite-dedicated code that makes ordering spares and add-ons a very uncomplicated affair.
Anyone wishing to enjoy the benefits of an electronic access organisation system and say goodbye to drawbacks of “mechanical” keys such as their getting lost will be making a future-proof choice with isis M100.
