Front Freestanding by Karl Andersson
Lasse Pettersson, Lennart Notman
Front is a wall-mounted or freestanding storage system that can be used to store and display newspapers, magazines, envelopes, forms, books, pictures, letters, postcards, photos, journals, posters, notices and brochures, or as pigeon-holes for post or messages, as well as for hanging clothes or even for decorative floral displays on walls, tables, etc.
Front freestanding, designed in 2006, is a single or double-sided screen for use with ledges with straight (vertical) or sloping glass fronts 150 mm or 230 mm high. Screens without ledges can also be used as room dividers. Front freestanding screens come in two heights – 1300 and 1750 mm – and three widths – 250, 500 and 1000 mm. Choose from wooden screens with straight or sloping ledges, or a combination with a noticeboard in grey cork linoleum or a magnetic whiteboard. Castors are available as an optional extra.
Front components include glass-fronted ledges, coat racks, a glass planter, display boards, panels, storage shelves, flexible panels and freestanding screens – all available in oak, birch and a choice of eight standard colours. Choose from glass fronts in heights of 32, 150 and 230 mm. Tempered clear glass comes as standard; plexiglass and frosted glass, made-to-measure sizes, other types of wood, colours and surface treatments are available on request. Accessories include wooden dividers that slot on top of the glass fronts to divide each shelf into compartments, magnets for the whiteboard and castors for Front freestanding units.
