Three basic components, two container types, modular shelves and very thick tops, all designed with 280 mm modular width, are the simple ingredients that make Fortepiano, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, a high ranking system for flexible living. Modular shelves can be freely wall-mounted in any desired position, either vertical, or horizontal, or in both directions, to allow designers to plan bookcases, living-room and all domestic furnishings with the unrestrained creativity and functional rigour typical of these systems. Specifically, the system has been studied for easy storage of all those objects which crowd our homes.
