Mathilde Aggebo, Julie Henriksen
Florentijn is designed by Mathilde Aggebo and Julie Henriksen, the duo behind the company Aggebo & Henriksen.
The idea behind Florentijn was to create a woven curtain with a simple striped design, yet giving a predominantly solid colour impression. The curtain was designed to work either individually or combined to allow multiple colour variations based on a simple and practical modular system.
The design of the curtain is centred around the line that occurs when two colours meet. The idea is to allow the two colours to extend into a mega-striped sequence when several curtains are used together. Juxtaposing all the colours creates a colour extravaganza.
The curtain can also be used to create a peaceful two-coloured room, as the individual curtain length is repeated several times.
Florentijn is avaliable in eight colours, four bright and four in subdued tones.
