Fat Sheep - Rug

Fat Sheep is a rug developed in the series „Grown Furniture“, a collection of objects made from pure new wool exclusively from Tyrolean mountain sheep. The rug is very thick and so soft that it produces an immediate urge to lie down, to touch this tender sensation by hand – a white cloud of fluffiness. Fat Sheep is a rug produced in a traditional weaving technique but the thickness and the softness of the threads are raised to a maximum.

The rug is produced exclusively by family run Regensburger in a remote valley of the Austrian Alps. The natural hand-made product is available for sale in customized size and four natural colours. The colours are undyed and therefore derive from the ones available on the sheep itself: natural white, brown, black and a light grey mixture.
