The Excellence Library pays homage to the craft of individual furniture-making in vogue as the 19th century drew to a close and the 20th century began. A brand of library architecture reflecting the style of bourgeois emancipation, somewhat low-key but nevertheless powerfully expressive. Designed in tune with authentic specifications, this library system follows the dictates of traditional craftsmanship. And great care is taken that only first-class solid woods and veneers of supreme quality taken from certified, sustainable forests are selected and then fashioned into stunning furniture; the mounting plates are made out of solid wood core plywood. In other words, everything remains true to the traditions of artistic cabinet-making as practised more than 100 years ago.
